The joy of swimming against the current is different. It is an easy way to travel on a dirt road, but it is an indescribable joy to reach the goal by traveling hard through the ditches and thorns. Such a tough, thorny path has been chosen by the Jain Cultural and Educational Board Ichalkaranji since 1992.
Sanmati Matimand Vikas Kendra (School for Special Children’s Schools and Workshops) is a sincere effort of the organization to create greenery in the lives of special children.
In whatever we do, love & care is the essence and equality is the core.
strives to give persons with disability an opportunity to live life with dignity and independence.
Rehabilitation & Research Centre
The centre helps the children in diagnossing and identing prompt treatment on various physio psychological problems such as mental retardation, slow or inability learning, speech defect.
Functional Education
“Disha Psychological Testing Guideline & Counseling Center” in Ichalkaranji. The object of the center is to help the scholastic backward students and bring them in the mainstream.
Physiotherapy
Department has a team of full time physiotherapists who assess, plan & implement the therapy program, providing mobility aids, designing special furniture.
Vocational Training
The children who have completed this school training according to their ability & interests, are enrolled to vocational training unit.
Participation in Competitions
Our students participate in different competitions like sakal chitrakala, singing competitions & have brought prizes too.
Sports, Recreation and Cultural
Sports are most important thing to improve mental & physical health of students. We have an attractive playground with various sport material/toys. Children enjoy on the ground like free-birds.
